bioMérieux SA in Orange, CA seeks an Account Manager to grow the Microbiology, Immunoassay, Molecular and Vision Suite business across the territory by placing instruments, reagents and services, while driving revenue and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

You will develop relationships with key accounts, manage pipeline, deliver sales presentations, collaborate with Product Specialists, and maintain CRM records.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 4 additional years of experience
• Minimum of 2 years of related professional experience in sales or customer-facing roles in IVD/medical devices or life sciences
• Infectious disease market experience preferred
• Capital and reagent sales experience within clinical laboratory preferred
• Proven track record of exceeding territory goals and top finishes in sales

Responsibilities

• Create and execute business plan to achieve/ exceed territory growth and drive new business revenue
• Maintain existing customer business to minimize lost business
• Manage pipeline to match monthly forecasts and quarterly plan; coordinate activity of field sales personnel
• Deliver effective Sales Call Management, Opportunity Management, Pipeline Management, and Forecast Accuracy
• Provide technical sales support and deliver presentations/demonstrations with Product Specialists
• Develop relationships with key customers/opinion leaders and identify reference sites
• Implement pilot projects with new product launches
• Maintain CRM records and submit expense reports regularly
• Perform work in compliance with quality procedures and standards
