Job summary

Friends of Children with Special Needs (FCSN) is a Bay Area nonprofit focused on helping individuals with special needs and their families. The SEP Job Coach position provides vocational training and supervision to adults with developmental challenges. The role requires travel to participants’ workplaces and supports job coaching to promote independence and employment success.

The offer includes an hourly pay range of $20-$24, with benefits and a supportive team in Fremont, CA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; higher education preferred.
• At least one year of experience with developmentally disabled individuals.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and data entry.

Responsibilities

• Provide training, supervision and support to maximize participants' life goals and employment.
• Deliver tailored job coaching to improve task proficiency and retention.
• Travel to participants' workplaces to provide on-site coaching.
• Maintain accurate records of job performance and evaluations.
• Collaborate with employers and stakeholders to create employment opportunities.
