Job summary

Rocky Mountain Youth Corps seeks an experienced Individual Placement Coordinator to support and supervise placement-based projects across New Mexico. This role focuses on program implementation, partner relations, and field training, ensuring Positive Youth Development for participants.

Your work will involve coordinating IP positions, maintaining data, and collaborating with regional teams to expand partnerships and opportunities for youth in conservation projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of field experience in natural resource management, outdoor education, or related fields.
• Minimum one year of experience with a Youth/Conservation Corps or other program serving youth and young adults.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's preferred.
• Ability to train others in appropriate skills and outdoor safety practices, including GPS and DeLorme inReach units.
• Excellent group facilitation and conflict resolution skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate Individual Placements across NM with IP Manager and Albuquerque-based Coordinator.
• Communicate with project partners to align IP objectives before implementation.
• Maintain Project Impact database with measurable results and timely reporting.
• Provide supervision, coaching, and development for IP participants to ensure Positive Youth Development.
• Assist with onboarding, recruitment, and training of IPs.
