Job summary

Boulder Care is seeking a Community Engagement Liaison based in the Olympia, Tacoma, Edmonds, Port Angeles, Bellingham, or Vancouver area. This field-based role involves meeting partners, outreach visits, and events, with remote admin work the rest of the week.

You will develop referral networks, manage partnerships, and use data to guide outreach while collaborating across teams to expand access to harm-reduction care. Community-focused, autonomous work in WA supports Boulder’s mission.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in community outreach, business development or referral management within healthcare or behavioral health.
• Proven track record of building and growing referral relationships and driving patient or partner growth.
• Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM tools and Google Workspace.
• Ability to travel locally with reliable transportation and a valid driver's license ~4 days/week.
• Self-starter with the ability to take initiative and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including public speaking, with a patient-first mindset.
• Passionate about serving marginalized and vulnerable populations.
• Proven ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality with sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Identify and build relationships with new referral partners to grow referrals and enrollment.
• Nurture and scale existing partnerships, ensuring alignment with Boulder’s mission.
• Utilize enrollment data and CRM to manage follow-ups and measure ROI.
• Spend most time in the field building relationships with providers and community advocates.
• Collect feedback to refine referral strategies and address barriers.
• Collaborate with marketing, commercial, clinical, product, and operations on regional outreach plans.
