Job summary

Roche is seeking a Technical Feasibility Specialist for NAM RIS in the United States. You will lead technical discovery, design feasible architectures, and partner with DBM and implementation teams to ensure successful pilots and handoffs.

The role requires a strong background in healthcare IT, solution engineering, and cross-functional collaboration. Travel up to 50% and residency within 50 miles of a major airport are needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in solution engineering, systems integration, healthcare IT, or related roles.
• Demonstrated customer-facing experience conducting technical discovery and designing or qualifying enterprise solutions.
• Experience with integrations, APIs/interfaces, data flows, infrastructure, or deployment dependencies in complex customer environments.
• Ability to work across commercial, product, technical, implementation, and customer teams in a matrixed organization.

Responsibilities

• Lead structured technical discovery across IT, informatics, lab systems, security, and infrastructure stakeholders.
• Develop solution designs for opportunities, including integration approach, data flows, and deployment requirements.
• Evaluate technical viability and identify risks early with mitigation plans.
• Support DBM-led opportunities through technical discovery sessions, workshops, and architecture discussions.
• Define technical success criteria and prepare a clear handoff for pilot or implementation execution.
• Capture reusable patterns and document technical learnings for future use.
