Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Manager I in the Government Business Division to provide direct operational and clinical supervision of CFSP, focusing on children and youth with complex medical and social needs, in Johnston County.

Based in North Carolina, this field‑based role travels to client sites as needed, with occasional office meetings, and requires leadership to coordinate care, compliance, and performance of frontline Care Managers.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS and minimum of 5 years' experience in a related field, including minimum of 1 year leadership/management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee risk-managed Care Manager caseloads and distribute workloads appropriately.
• Monitor completion of contractually required face‑to‑face visits based on member risk level.
• Ensure timely completion of assessments and care plans, effective member engagement, and participation in Child and Family Team meetings.
• Provide clinical consultation and manage escalations for high‑risk and complex members.
• Maintain standards for documentation quality, timeliness, and regulatory compliance.
• Coach, support, and manage the performance of frontline Care Managers.
• Identify and address performance gaps early to prevent systemic contractual deficiencies.
• Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
