Job summary

Project Resources Group, Inc. is seeking an outside plant expert to join our Field Operations as a route-based Construction Coordinator. You’ll be the eyes and ears on fiber networks, running an assigned route, and addressing small issues before they become big problems.

Qualifications

A valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
A reliable, well-maintained personal vehicle – mileage reimbursed at IRS rate.
Dependability and punctuality with ability to work independently in the field.
Sharp attention to detail when reviewing tickets, maps, and prints.
Comfort in outdoor work with varying weather conditions.
Physical readiness to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs throughout the day.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Knowledge of underground utilities and local dig laws is a plus.
Understanding of fiber engineering fundamentals.

Responsibilities

Drive an assigned fiber route on a recurring basis with substantial windshield time.
Visit and monitor existing fiber routes to prevent issues on the line.
Review 811 locate tickets and maps to stay ahead of digging activity.
Provide first-level on-site support and mitigate potential failures.
Log and expand changes in infrastructure along the route.
Report to field management to verify quality and adherence to SOW.
Communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.
