Job summary

Family Focus Inc. in Indiana is seeking a Caseworker to deliver trauma-informed, intensive home-based case management for families connected with DCS and probation.

The role requires regular field presence to cover LaPorte County, Porter County, and surrounding areas, coordinating with supervisors, probation, CASA, and other partners. You will conduct risk assessments, connect families to community resources, and provide advocacy and parent education within the family's natural environment,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, or related mental health field.
• Or minimum 4 years of experience in human services.
• Strong written and verbal communication with government organizations.
• Active listening, critical thinking, and decision making.
• Computer skills with word processing and basic office equipment.
• Ability to drive and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, complete risk assessments, safety checks, and case planning.
• Provide home-based trauma-informed case management for families.
• Coordinate services with DCS, Probation, CASA, and providers.
• Deliver weekly case management and family skills building.
• Prepare reports and testify as required by DCS/Probation.
• Maintain timely communication with staff and referral sources.
• Travel to serve LaPorte, Porter, and surrounding counties.
