Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1 year experience in the Substance Abuse or Mental Health Field required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with 2 points or less.

Responsibilities

• Support families to prevent substance use disorders.
• Promote child safety by addressing family substance use.
• Transport clients to appointments.
• Provide educational services to DFS staff.
• Participate in case presentations and screening processes.
• Conduct outreach activities in the community.

Skills

Knowledge of screening tools and therapy principles

Ability to screen clients for appropriate services

Education
