Job summary

Center For Family Services in Cherry Hill, NJ is recruiting for a Counselor Aide to coordinate services for DCPP-referred clients. You will schedule transportation for substance abuse assessments and urine drug screens, coordinate referrals, and maintain case management communications with DCPP.

The role requires a BA/BS in a behavioral health field, 3+ years of relevant experience, strong writing/spoken communication, and a valid driver's license for transporting clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in health, psychology, counseling, social work, education or other behavioral health profession.
• Minimum of 3 years of program experience working with individuals with substance use and mental health disorders.
• Proven ability to constructively manage conflict and solve problems.
• Knowledge and competency in the utilization of Electronic Health Records.
• Exemplary writing and speaking skills.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive clients in agency vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate services for DCPP-referred clients, scheduling and providing transportation for assessments and urine drug screens.
• Refer and case manage clients, communicating with DCPP Caseworker.
• Liaise with CADCs and treatment providers; file necessary reports.
• Ensure compliance with funding requirements, contracts, and CPSAI policies.
• Support program leadership with data collection for daily, monthly, and yearly reports.
• Deliver services in a culturally competent and linguistically appropriate manner.
