Job summary

Taranis in Fargo, ND is seeking a Customer Experience Manager to own strategic account engagement across key retail partners, working with the VP of Customer Experience and Director of Partner Experience to drive platform adoption, deliver product demos, and coordinate proactive support during the growing season.

This role requires frequent in-person visits, strong relationship-building, and the ability to translate customer value into measurable outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 3–5 years in agribusiness, AgTech, customer experience, account management, or similar customer-facing role.
• Strong knowledge of the agriculture industry; agronomy experience preferred but not required.
• Outstanding verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Relationship-building with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to travel extensively in the assigned territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute proactive customer engagement plans for the growing season.
• Conduct regular in-person customer touchpoints with field-level stakeholders to build relationships and reinforce value.
• Build trusted relationships with retail partners, growers, and stakeholders through consistent communication.
• Understand each customer's business objectives, goals, and measures of success.
• Ensure timely communication, guidance, and ongoing support throughout the growing season.
• Identify opportunities to increase engagement and address concerns before they become issues.
• Represent Taranis professionally during customer interactions, building long-term partnerships.
• Ensure every interaction strengthens the partnership and reinforces value.
