Job summary

Baker Commodities Inc. seeks a field-based sales professional to procure new business and grow the existing customer base in the meat, fish, and food-processing sectors.

You will visit customers, assess needs, and promote grease trap services and related offerings. The role requires 3–5 years of restaurant/food industry experience, 75–90% travel, a high school diploma, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years’ experience and contacts in the restaurant/food industry.
• Must be able to travel 75-90% and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word).

Responsibilities

• Solicit new business and maintain existing customer base in meat, fish, food processing, and restaurant industries for services including grease trap and used cooking oil collection.
• Communicate with customers to ensure proper service and identify additional needs.
• Meet with cancelled accounts to determine reasons and attempt reactivation.
• Schedule meetings and perform cold calls in areas assigned by management.
• Communicate professionally with customers and all levels of Company personnel.
• May interact with inspectors for regulatory compliance.
