Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree OR Associate's degree plus 2 years of relevant work experience OR 60 college credits plus 2 years OR 90 college credits plus 1 year.
• Experience in social, human, or protective services preferred.
• Willingness to travel; extensive travel up to 60%.
• Ability to maintain documentation and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Responds quickly in crisis situations involving children and may be dangerous.
• Conducts forensic investigations of reports of abuse/neglect to determine risk.
• Interviews parents, caregivers, reporters, and others to gather case details.
• Documents all relevant information and completes required forms timely.
• Regular travel to homes and offices; field-based work in various community locations.
