Job summary

Roncelli, Inc. is a full-time Project Engineer position based in Sterling Heights, MI, focusing on planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

The role supports documentation, cost tracking, scheduling, quality oversight, and field coordination on active sites. You will work with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure on-time, within-budget delivery while meeting contract requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field preferred; Associate degree and/or equivalent industry experience may be considered.
• Two years of related construction or project support experience preferred but not required.
• OSHA, First Aid/CPR or safety credentials preferred.
• Pre-employment and annual drug testing required; background check incl. driving record as required by client.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with project documentation & submittals.
• Support RFIs, meeting minutes, transmittals, and project correspondence.
• Maintain organized project records in company project management systems.
• Assist in tracking project costs, budgets, and cost forecasting.
• Assist with schedule updates, milestone tracking, and weekly reports.
• Observe work for quality, coordinate between field teams and project leadership.
• Support safety compliance and incident documentation.
