Roncelli, Inc. in Sterling Heights, MI is seeking a full-time Project Engineer to support planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects.

You will assist with submittals, RFIs, cost tracking, schedule monitoring, and field coordination to ensure safety, on-time delivery, and budget alignment. This onsite role involves collaboration with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients, requiring attention to detail, strong communication, and a commitment to quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; Associate degree or equivalent experience may be considered.
• Two years of related construction or project support experience preferred but not required.
• OSHA, First Aid/CPR, or other safety credentials are preferred.
• Pre-employment and annual drug testing, background check, and driving record checks may apply; a valid driver’s license is required.

Responsabilités

• Assist with project documentation, submittals, RFIs, meeting minutes, transmittals, and project correspondence.
• Assist in tracking project costs, labor hours, materials, and equipment usage; support budget monitoring and cost forecasting.
• Assist schedule updates, milestone tracking, and weekly status reports; identify potential risks and escalate as needed.
• Observe work to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards; support punch lists and closeout.
• Support safety reviews, site inspections, and documentation of safety observations and actions; track permits where required.
• Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, and project leadership to ensure alignment with scope and plans; participate in training and process improvements.

Roncelli, Inc. is currently seeking a full time Project Engineer. The Project Engineer supports the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects by assisting with project documentation, cost tracking, schedule monitoring, quality oversight, and field coordination. This role partners with Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with contract requirements and company standards.Travel Expectations: This is an onsite, field-based position requiring daily presence at assigned project sites. Travel to other project locations may be required based on assignment, along with occasional travel to Roncelli’s headquarters in Sterling Heights, Michigan.Candidates should include their project list, resume, and preference for travel when applying for the role. The position involves prolonged periods of computer use, participation in meetings, and on-site coordination. The employee must be able to walk on uneven terrain, climb stairs or ladders, and work safely around construction activities while wearing required PPE. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. Travel between project sites and office locations may be necessary depending on project needs.
