Job summary

Trane Technologies is seeking an on-site installer for building automation systems, serving customer locations. You will interpret plans, install control devices, and coordinate with trades to ensure smooth execution.

The role requires 2–5 years HVAC/Controls experience, a valid driver's license, and basic Microsoft Office skills. Travel and occasional overnight stays are expected as part of field responsibilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; typically 2–5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
• Technical School or formal training is preferred.
• Valid driver’s license for minimum 12 months and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Install building automation systems and temperature control systems.
• Interpret drawings, plans, and specs to install conduit, enclosures, wiring and end devices.
• Prepare for on-site installation by reviewing layout, gathering materials, coordinating with other trades.
• Maintain inventory and document activities and paperwork for each job.
• Provide customer service on-site, diagnose and repair equipment and systems.
