Job summary

Boutique Retail Real Estate in Oceanside, CA seeks an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee outdoor retail centers. This field-based role requires 2–3 days visiting properties and the rest at the Oceanside office; you must use your own car with mileage reimbursement.

You will manage a portfolio of about 5–7 centers (~200 tenants), build tenant relationships, coordinate vendors, review invoices, and partner with accounting on budgets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial retail property management experience.
• Active California Real Estate License or ability to obtain one.
• Strong Excel and Outlook skills.
• Experience managing shopping center or retail portfolios.
• Tech-forward mindset with data-driven approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of ~5–7 outdoor retail centers (~200 tenants).
• Conduct regular property visits and build tenant relationships.
• Coordinate vendors for maintenance and repairs; source, schedule, oversee, follow-up.
• Review invoices and manage property expenditures.
• Partner with accounting on budgeting and financial planning.
• Analyze property and operational data to support decisions.
• Occasionally conduct property showings as needed.
• Utilize Avid, Excel, Outlook and leverage prop-tech and data tools.
