Job summary

Our client in Calabasas, CA is seeking an experienced Commercial Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of outdoor retail centers. The role is field-based with 2–3 days per week visiting properties and the rest in the Calabasas office, requiring use of your own vehicle for mileage reimbursement.

This position offers a base salary of 85,000–100,000 USD plus discretionary bonus and mileage reimbursement, with strong benefits and growth opportunities in a rapidly expanding boutique real estate

Qualifications

5+ years of commercial RETAIL real estate experience REQUIRED.
Active California Real Estate License (or ability to obtain one)
Strong Excel and Outlook skills; experience managing vendors and maintenance projects

Responsibilities

Manage a portfolio of 13 outdoor retail shopping centers (under 1M square feet total, roughly 130 tenants).
Conduct regular property visits 2–3 days per week and coordinate maintenance as needed.
Build and maintain strong tenant relationships through proactive communication.
Coordinate vendors for maintenance and repair needs, including sourcing, scheduling, oversight, and follow-up.
Review invoices and manage property expenditures; partner with accounting on budgeting.
Analyze property and operational data to support business decisions.
Conduct occasional property showings as needed; utilize prop-tech and data-driven solutions.
