Job summary

Solutionz, Inc. seeks an AV Design Engineer to design audiovisual systems for customer requirements and clearly define capabilities and limits.

You will support Sales through quoting and solution development, gathering requirements, designing systems, and preparing BOMs and documentation. The role collaborates with customers, Sales, Project Management, CAD, and Operations to ensure technically sound, accurately estimated solutions aligned with expectations and will hand off projects with

Qualifications

• CTS (minimum requirement) or CTS-D (preferred).
• 3+ years in AV technical role.
• Knowledge of AV and architectural drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assist site visits and needs analysis with customers.
• Develop BOM based on SOF; include components, cabling, and installation materials.
• Create system flow diagrams and labor estimates.
• Support CAD team with project documentation and handoffs.
• Coordinate BOM changes with PM and vendors as needed.
• Provide technical support across project lifecycle.
