Job summary

HS International in the United States is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support utility-scale solar, BESS, and HV construction projects. You will assist the Project Manager and coordinate with on-site engineers and field staff to ensure safe, high‑quality, on‑time delivery.

This role is 100% on-site with 4-week rotations. Requires 4–7+ years in construction, a related bachelor’s degree, and proficiency with PM software (P6, Procore, Bluebeam).

Qualifications

• 4–7+ years of construction experience; utility-scale solar, BESS, HV, industrial, commercial construction or heavy civil experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required with equivalent experience).
• Experience with self-perform construction environments strongly preferred.
• Proficiency with project management software (P6, Procore, Bluebeam, Vista/CMiC, MS Office, etc.).
• Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills.
• Ability to work on-site 100% (temporary relocation to project community required).

Responsibilities

• Lead LNTP and pre-mobilization setup with documentation, permits, contracts, and early procurement.
• Support PM with client coordination, meetings, scope and drawing reviews.
• Manage subcontracting and procurement workflows; prepare requisitions and verify BOM quantities.
• Draft and review subcontract agreements; lead pre-task planning and first-article build approvals.
• Assist with IRA reporting, domestic content verification, and labor requirements.
• Prepare agendas, field data, progress updates, and client-facing project reporting.
• Coordinate look-ahead schedules and cost reviews with on-site teams.
• Support subcontractor management by tracking performance and reviewing invoices.
