Job summary

Actalent is hiring an Assistant Construction Project Manager for renewable energy projects, focusing on solar and BESS. The role is traveling and site-based, coordinating day-to-day construction and interfacing with field teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

You will support project planning, scheduling, cost control, and documentation to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery while upholding safety and quality standards. This contract role offers per diem and hybrid site work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience with utility-scale solar and BESS projects is highly desirable.
• Strong field execution and subcontractor coordination experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day onsite construction activities to meet safety, schedule, and budget targets.
• Support EPC delivery across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and turnover.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, forecasts, and job-cost reports; assist with cost controls.
• Coordinate with preconstruction, procurement, vendors and subcontractors per contract requirements.
• Prepare and track RFIs, change orders, submittals, and project documentation.
