Job summary

KIPP NYC is seeking an Associate, Postsecondary Workforce Advisor to support alumni as they transition to career pathways and workforce training across New York City and the tri-state area. The role combines coaching, partnership development, and program evaluation to advance postsecondary success for students.

Reporting to the Associate Director, you will manage a large caseload, visit training sites, and collaborate with providers and employers to promote credential attainment and meaningful

Qualifications

• Two years of experience working with young adults.
• Experience advising or coaching students in CTE, workforce, or career readiness programs preferred.
• Strong coaching, advising, and active listening skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized coaching and mentorship to alumni in NYC and tri-state areas.
• Manage an advisory caseload of approximately 150–200 alumni post-high school.
• Track progress, document cases, and prepare program reports for leadership.
