Job summary

KIPP NYC Public Schools is seeking a full-time Workforce Advisor in the New York City metropolitan area. The role focuses on coaching alumni into career-training programs, credential pathways, and workforce opportunities.

Reporting to the Associate Director of CTE Pathways & Partnerships, you will visit sites, develop partnerships with providers and employers, track progress, and support long-term economic mobility through data-informed advising.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working with young adults.
• Experience advising or coaching students in CTE, workforce development, or career readiness programs preferred.
• Ability to build authentic relationships and motivate students toward goals.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Advise and coach alumni through the first two years after high school in career pathways.
• Build and maintain partnerships with workforce providers and employers.
• Visit training sites, monitor program quality, and promote opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records and reports in Salesforce.
• Collaborate with team to drive continuous improvement in programs.
