Job summary

KIPP NYC Public Schools is seeking a Workforce Advisor to empower alumni as they transition from high school into career training programs, credential pathways, and the workforce. Reporting to the Associate Director of CTE Pathways & Partnerships, you will provide individualized coaching and ongoing support during the crucial first two years after high school.

This full-time, field-based role covers the New York City metro area with significant travel; you will build partnerships, monitor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; associate or credential program required.
• Minimum two years of experience advising or coaching young adults, especially from underserved communities.
• Strong coaching and active listening skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Alumni advising and career coaching for 150–200 alumni across NYC and tri-state area.
• Postsecondary and workforce partnership development with providers and employers.
• Maintain accurate caseloads and program data in Salesforce; prepare reports as requested.
• Collaborate with leadership to strengthen programs and services; travel within NYC/tri-state area regularly.
