Job summary

KIPP NYC Public Schools is seeking a Workforce Advisor to support alumni as they transition from high school to career training and the workforce. You will coach, guide, and monitor alumni across NYC and the tri-state area, with extensive in-person field visits and travel.

Youll partner with providers and employers to ensure smooth enrollment, persistence, and successful launches into meaningful careers, while tracking outcomes in Salesforce and maintaining strong relationships.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or higher required; bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum two years of experience working with young adults.
• Experience advising or coaching in CTE, workforce development, or career readiness.
• Ability to build authentic relationships with students and families.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Travel frequently throughout New York City and tri-state area.

Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of 150–200 alumni in NYC and tri-state area.
• Provide individualized coaching, mentorship, and accountability post-high school.
• Conduct regular in-person sessions, visits, and virtual check-ins.
• Develop personalized action plans to promote credential attainment and employment.
• Assist alumni in navigating applications and enrollment in CTE/workforce programs.
• Track progress and report data to leadership as requested.
