Job summary

Jobot is seeking a controls specialist to perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS systems. The role is primarily field-based (about 80%) with a company vehicle, serving client sites on small to mid-sized retrofit projects.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in building automation or commercial HVAC controls, is comfortable in the field, and familiar with major BAS platforms such as Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, and Honeywell.

Qualifications

• 2+ years building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell or others.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls.
• Conduct start-up, testing, diagnostics, and system commissioning from controllers to end devices for small to mid-sized projects.
• Work roughly 80% in the field at customer sites with a company vehicle provided.
