Job summary

Jobot is seeking a BAS/HVAC Controls Technician to join our San Jose, CA team in a permanent on-site role. You will conduct preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls across client sites, with about 80% field work and a company vehicle provided.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in building automation or commercial HVAC controls, and familiarity with systems from Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta, Distech, or Honeywell.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of building automation (BAS/BMS) or commercial HVAC controls experience.
• Willingness to be in the field locally at client sites roughly 80% of the time.
• Familiarity with one or more BAS systems: Schneider Electric, Siemens, JCI, ALC, Trane, Delta Controls, Distech, Honeywell, or other.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance, repair, installation, and commissioning of BAS/BMS controls.
• Field work approximately 80% at customer sites; inspect, test, and diagnose systems.
• Start-up, testing, and commissioning from system-level controllers to end devices for small to medium retrofit projects.
