Job summary

Electrosonic is seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver on-site and remote technical service for installed audiovisual and experiential systems. You will support mission-critical environments, ensuring system reliability and exceptional customer experience.

The role requires strong troubleshooting, interpretation of schematics, and clear communication with clients and internal teams. Travel to customer sites and occasional after-hours work are expected within a hybrid work model.

Qualifications

• Strong foundational knowledge of audiovisual systems, signal flow, control, audio, video, and basic networking concepts.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, integrated systems independently and methodically.
• Ability to read and interpret system drawings, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with service tools, laptops, and standard business software.
• Ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing conditions.
• Positive, collaborative, and passionate about helping clients maximize the performance and longevity of their AV systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting, diagnostics, repair, and maintenance of audiovisual and experiential systems.
• Execute service work in accordance with scope, contracts, SLAs, and standards.
• Identify root causes and determine corrective actions, including repair or escalation.
• Support PMVs with inspections, documentation, and reporting.
• Document service activities and recommendations clearly and timely.
• Coordinate with internal teams to support dispatching and communication.
• Collaborate with Programmers, Engineers, and Project teams on site support and validations.
