Job summary

Diversified is seeking an Engineer 2 - Configuration and Commissioning (Field Engineer) to join our New York team. You will commission AV systems at client sites, optimize performance, and coordinate with project teams to ensure alignment with scope and design intent.

You will pre-commission in the office, program and test configurations, troubleshoot, and communicate project status to stakeholders. Occasional travel is expected to client sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in AV installation/commissioning required.
• Ability to clearly communicate with project team.
• Ability to troubleshoot AV and network systems, basic to complex.
• Familiarity with MTR and Zoom Rooms is required.
• DSP certification from Biamp, QSC or Shure required.

Responsibilities

• Commission AV systems at client sites and optimize settings per scope and drawings.
• Pre-commission systems in the office.
• Perform programming and configuration loading and testing; debug control systems with remote programmer.
• Regularly communicate status to project stakeholders.
