Job summary

Mason Technologies is seeking an AV Field Project Manager to oversee field execution of commercial AV projects from kickoff through installation, testing, commissioning, and closeout. You will serve as a key link between project management, engineering, field technicians, vendors, and customers to ensure safety, schedule, and adherence to specifications.

The ideal candidate combines strong project management with hands-on technical knowledge of AV systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in commercial AV installation or project management.
• Strong knowledge of AV systems and installation practices.
• Ability to read AV drawings, specs, and equipment schedules.
• Experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, and vendors.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage field execution of AV projects from mobilization to closeout.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, technicians, vendors, and customers.
• Review drawings, schedules, and installation requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to field personnel during installation.
• Track milestones, progress, and risks; prepare regular updates.
• Conduct site visits to inspect quality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment, cabling, and control systems.
• Coordinate final testing, commissioning, and system acceptance.
• Support client training and project handoff.
