Job summary

BD is a leading medical technology company seeking an Automation Servicer Engineer to service advanced diagnostics customers across assigned territories, with potential nationwide travel. The role requires remote work capability, self-motivation, and willingness to travel, with on-call rotations.

The ASE will install, maintain, upgrade, and repair instruments, collaborate with service teams, and ensure compliance with company policies while delivering top-notch customer experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree requirement or 10+ years of hands-on experience in electro-mechanical/electronic systems.
• Strong understanding of electronics, mechatronics, PLCs and pneumatics.
• Intermediate knowledge of networking architecture and IT coordination with customer IT/lab leadership.
• Intermediate grasp of operating systems and ability to coordinate software upgrades with customers.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer needs and perform installations, maintenance, upgrades, and repairs to meet specifications.
• Drive field service revenue through preventive maintenance and equipment moves.
• Lead customer communications and provide follow-up plans.
• Coordinate system upgrades with customers as needed.
