Job summary
Intralox is seeking an Automation Specialist – Lifecycle Services to support and install conveyor equipment at client sites across multiple regions. You will troubleshoot electrical/mechanical systems, configure PLCs/HMIs, and lead training and upgrades while coordinating with subcontractors and engineers.
The role requires strong electrical and mechanical aptitude, travel 40–65%, and the ability to read schematics. A high school diploma and 2+ years of field tech experience are expected.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required with technical aptitude and willingness to travel.
- 2+ years providing technical field support, troubleshooting, and commissioning.
- Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience with PLC/HMI configuration and control systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical support at client sites for new and existing systems.
- Lead field installation and commissioning of equipment.
- Support mechanical and electrical subcontractors for installation.
- Troubleshoot systems remotely via phone/online sessions.
- Develop and implement controls upgrades and training material.
- Lead on-site training and problem solving for equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and Test groups for FA tests.
