Job summary

Intralox, a global leader in conveyor equipment, seeks an Automation Specialist for Lifecycle Services. You will support, install, and upgrade automated conveyor systems at client sites, performing control upgrades and remote troubleshooting.

Responsibilities include training teams, preparing work instructions, and coordinating with engineering groups to improve systems. Travel and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience providing technical support at client sites.
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Knowledge of controls engineering concepts and data sheets.
• Willingness to travel 40-65% and work weekends/holidays if needed.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team player.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support at client sites for new and existing systems.
• Lead field installation and commissioning of equipment.
• Support contractors during installation at customer facilities.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment remotely.
• Develop and implement controls upgrades on existing systems.
• Create troubleshooting work instructions and training material.
• Lead training, troubleshooting, and repair of control systems.
• Collaborate with teams for continuous improvement and factory tests.
