Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer II for the OIE team to drive the operational integration of new automation equipment across Amazon's last‑mile network. The role requires field leadership and the ability to translate complex technical programs into clear, scalable operational standards.

You will travel extensively (~80%) to sites across North America to support installations, testing, launches, and post‑launch monitoring, and you will develop pilot plans, build training

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Leads cross-functional teams through launch readiness and go-live phases.
• Experience with retrofits, launches, or automation deployments.
• Experience with material handling equipment (MHE).
• 3+ years in a manufacturing/industrial/engineering role.

Responsibilities

• Own operational integration of new automation equipment across Amazon's last-mile network.
• Develop pilot readiness and operational standards for pilots.
• Lead on-the-ground readiness for automation programs expanding across the network.
• Provide pre-launch training and on-site support during launches.
• Monitor post-launch performance and identify adoption gaps.
