Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking an Operations Engineer for the Ops Integration Engineering (OIE) team. This role guides the operational integration of new automation across Amazon’s Last‑mile Network, travels ~80% to sites in North America, and partners with Innovation, Design, Process Engineering, and Safety to define launch criteria and standard work.

You will lead on-ground readiness, develop site training, monitor post-launch metrics, and escalate risks to ensure successful expansion

Qualifications

5+ years of MS Office products and applications experience.
5+ years of directly managing and being responsible for multiple large projects experience.
3+ years of leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases.
Bachelor's degree.
Experience and strong technical background in automated or non-automated material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

Pilot Planning: develop operational framework for new automation pilots and create operational standards guiding site interactions with new technology.
Operational Readiness & Expansion: lead on-ground readiness for programs expanding across the network, deliver pre-launch training, and track post-launch performance.
