Job summary

Automated Logic, a Carrier Company, is seeking a Field Engineer to own turn-key project delivery from install to commissioning for DDC systems. You will mentor junior technicians and act as trusted advisor to customers, navigating complex building automation architectures.

This role requires proficiency with ALC products, ASHRAE guidelines, and willingness to travel; you will document commissioning logs and ensure safe, high-performance system delivery in diverse environments.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of professional experience in Building Automation or HVAC.
• Must possess a valid, current Driver’s License and be insurable.
• Ability to lift items up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Capable of working over 8 feet and proficient with ladders and lifts.

Responsibilities

• Turn-Key Delivery: Own the install, commissioning, and troubleshooting of DDC systems.
• Technical Leadership: Mentor junior techs and advise customers for high-quality outcomes.
• Risk & Coordination: Partner with Project Managers to manage risk and execution.
• Travel & Flexibility: Travel as needed and adapt to shifting project priorities.
• Proficiency & Growth: Demonstrate expertise with ALC products and ASHRAE guidelines.
• Project Integrity: Maintain documentation and commissioning logs for safe delivery.
