Job summary

Progressive is seeking an Auto Damage Claims Adjuster to be the primary contact with customers, directing and deciding the repair process from start to finish. You will manage your own workload, collaborate with body shops, and negotiate repair pricing while ensuring liability is assessed accurately.

A field role with a company car, occasional office reporting, and travel within the assigned area is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years relevant work experience with 1 year appraisal/estimate experience
• Associate's degree + 3 years relevant experience + 1 year appraisal/estimate experience
• Bachelor's degree + 1 year appraisal/estimate experience
• Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Responsibilities

• Complete vehicle inspections and write estimates
• Negotiate with body shops
• Document claim information per standards and laws
• Evaluate claim payments and resolutions
• Review supplement requests for validity
