Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Field Auto Appraiser - Catastrophic Loss to inspect and value damaged vehicles in the field across multiple markets. This full-time role requires travel to inspection sites and strong judgment to distinguish repair versus salvage.

Two years of related appraisal experience, a high school diploma, and state licensing as required are preferred. You’ll work with repair facilities, use estimatics software, and contribute to CAT deployments during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Licenses as required by state guidelines.
• Two years of related experience including at least one year of appraisal experience.
• Strong knowledge of automobiles and ability to use appraisal software.

Responsibilities

• Appraises and determines costs of repairs to damaged vehicle in the field.
• Evaluates and determines if the vehicle is repairable or salvageable based on estimatics software.
• Travels to inspection locations to appraise vehicles in the field.
• Prepares estimates using estimatics software.
• Works with auto repair facilities to determine supplemental processing and provides a supplemental estimate.
