Kokosing Materials, Inc. (KMI) seeks skilled personnel to support hot-mix asphalt production across its Central Ohio plants and terminals.

The role involves plant upgrades, maintenance, and repairs in indoor/outdoor settings, primarily first shift with potential for nights and weekends. Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of asphalt plant operations, welding (Mig/Tig/Stick), mechanical aptitude, and the ability to read drawings and welding symbols.

Qualificações

• Must know Asphalt Plant Operations.
• Willing to work nights and weekends.
• Must have cutting and welding experience (Mig, Tig & Stick) and be able to pass certification.
• Must have mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to interpret drawings, welding symbols & specifications.
• Crane rigging and signaling certification.
• Able to work in confined spaces.
• Lockout tagout experience and/or certification.
• Class B CDL.
• Able to operate manlifts and work at various heights up to 135'
• Able to lift 75 lbs.
• Able to climb ladders and work at various heights up to 135'.
• Able to solve problems.

Job Description

• The individual will be working at various asphalt plants and terminals in the Central Ohio region, supporting production of hot-mix asphalt through plant upgrades, maintenance and repairs.
• Working environment is a combination of indoor and outdoor.
• This role will be 1st shift with the potential for nights and weekends.

• Class B CDL
• Able to operate manlifts and work in elevated areas
• Possess a clean driving recordMust be able to pass drug and alcohol screenings on demand
• Must be able to work alone or with large groups of team members
• Able to work in all environments. Wind, rain, snow, heat, cold, loud areas, etc.
• Able to lift 75 lbs
• Able to climb ladders and work at various heights up to 135'
• Able to solve problems
