Job summary

Arcadis is seeking entry-level Archaeologists to support environmental planning projects in Ohio and surrounding states. You will conduct archaeological field work for multiple projects, from site identification to data recovery, including shovel testing and pedestrian surveys.

This part-time as-needed field position requires travel to project sites with a hybrid work structure. You will join a collaborative cultural resources team and contribute across projects while meeting fieldwork demands

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in anthropology/archaeology.
• 1-2 years of experience in cultural resources management.
• Demonstrated practical field experience within Ohio or surrounding states.
• Working knowledge of GPS systems and the collection of field data.

Responsibilities

• Conduct archaeological fieldwork for multiple projects across sectors.
• Perform shovel testing, pedestrian surveys, excavation, and site documentation.
• Collaborate with Arcadis cultural resources team and support environmental planning projects.
