Job summary

ERM is hiring Archaeological Field Technicians to support Class III cultural resources inventory efforts in Nevada and Idaho. This is a full-time, limited-term role with a duration of 4 months, extendable, and a heavy field schedule of 60–72 hours per week.

Responsibilities include conducting intensive pedestrian surveys, recording resources with GPS and tablets, photographing sites, assisting with testing and reporting, and ensuring safety and regulatory compliance at remote field locations in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology or related field.
• At least 2 years of archaeological field surveying experience.
• Willingness to work long hours, weekends, and in rugged terrain.

Responsibilities

• Conduct intensive pedestrian Class III archaeological survey under supervision.
• Record resources, complete field forms and site logs.
• Use GPS, tablets, maps, and imagery to document survey areas.
• Assist with mapping, photographing resources, and site conditions.
• Follow field methods and safety protocols.
