ArborMetrics Solutions, LLC is seeking an Utility Arborist to work outdoors across energy corridors, performing vegetation management, risk assessments, and stakeholder coordination. This role emphasizes safety, independent work, and adaptability in a dynamic field environment.

You will document patrol records, classify vegetation, and apply standard pruning techniques while engaging with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor\u2019s degree in forestry, natural resources, or related discipline (or equivalent work experience).
• Experience in forestry, arboriculture, horticulture, or tree-related green industry.
• Knowledge of tree identification.
• Valid driver\u2019s license and safe driving record.
• Experience with GIS software / Microsoft Office and an iPhone.
• Ability to work alone outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; problem solving and multi-tasking.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain accurate documentation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors and identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Conduct Tree Risk Assessments and analyze growth rates.
• Mark vegetation and prescribe clearance actions per client directives and ANSI standards.
