Job summary

Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Field Application Scientist to join our Commercial team. The role provides scientific and technical support for customer engagement across gRNA, oligonucleotide, and mRNA technologies, working with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions.

You will independently support customer engagements, troubleshooting, and pre-/post-sales activities while contributing scientific insights to strengthen customer experience and commercial effectiveness.

Qualifications

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Genomics, or related field with 0–2 years of relevant experience.
Or Bachelor’s with 8+ years or Master’s with 6+ years of relevant experience.
Experience in gRNA, oligonucleotide synthesis, mRNA technologies, nucleic acid therapeutics, or related applications.

Responsibilities

Provide scientific and technical support for customer opportunities, pre- and post-sales activities.
Develop scientific recommendations for gRNA, oligonucleotide, mRNA, and GMP services based on customer requirements.
Address technical questions, troubleshoot applications, and guide TriLink technologies and products.
Collaborate with Product Management, R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Commercial teams to assess feasibility and identify solutions.
Represent TriLink through meetings, webinars, and industry events, communicating technical information clearly.
