Maravai LifeSciences is seeking a Field Application Scientist to provide scientific and technical support across TriLink's gRNA, oligonucleotide, and mRNA technologies. The role collaborates with Business Development and cross-functional teams to tailor solutions and support customer applications, with travel up to 30% for meetings and events.

The candidate will contribute to product support, troubleshooting, and pre-/post-sales activities, enhancing customer experience and commercial success.

Qualifications

• Strong customer-facing, consultative, presentation, and scientific communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex scientific concepts for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Travel up to 30% for customer meetings and events.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific and technical support for customer opportunities and pre-/post-sales activities.
• Develop scientific recommendations for gRNA, oligonucleotide, and mRNA technologies based on customer requirements.
• Present technical proposals, webinars, and other customer-facing documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate technical feasibility and solution approaches.

Education

Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry, Genomics

Bachelor's degree with 8+ years of experience

Master's degree with 6+ years of experience
