Job summary

MSD is seeking a Manager to lead a regional team of field application scientists, overseeing performance, growth, and training across the territory. The role entails providing scientific support to account managers and customers, mentoring FAS staff, and ensuring alignment with MSD policies.

You will collaborate with sales and marketing, present at conferences, and develop reports from assays and trainings. A Ph.D.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Life Sciences or related field required; Master’s/Bachelor’s with equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum five years in field application/scientific support; three years hands-on molecular biology/biochem experience; supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a regional team of field application scientists and mentor managers.
• Coordinate training, performance reviews, and development opportunities.
• Provide scientific support to account managers and customers in the territory.
• Create reports/presentations from assays, trainings, and evaluations.
• Present scientific seminars at customer sites and conferences.
• Travel up to 30–50% to customer sites within territory.
