Qualifications

• PhD in biochemistry, biotechnology, molecular biology, or related discipline.
• Master’s degree may be substituted with additional relevant experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience managing teams.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in field application or technical support.
• Minimum of 3 years hands-on biochemistry/molecular biology lab experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale a team of field application scientists across North America and selected distribution networks.
• Hire, onboard, and retain FAS talent; set performance expectations and KPIs.
• Define and implement FAS strategy aligned with commercial goals and revenue growth.
• Act as senior escalation point for complex scientific and technical challenges.
• Travel with FAS team up to 30% in North America to coach and strengthen customer relationships.
• Deliver training on products, software releases, and applications.
