Job summary

Meso Scale Diagnostics, LLC. is seeking a Manager I, Scientific Support to lead the internal scientific support function and enhance the MSD customer experience.

The role focuses on developing metrics, directing the Scientific Support team, and ensuring high-quality support for all MSD products. The candidate will oversee training, performance management, and collaboration across departments to improve procedures and training on catalog products, while maintaining quality standards and

Qualifications

• BS in biology or related field; MS preferred.
• 2+ years hands-on lab experience in immunology, molecular biology, drug discovery or biochemistry.
• 3-5 years in field application, scientific support or related customer-focused role; plus 1-2 years as lead/supervisor.
• Understanding of customer service processes in life sciences.

Responsibilities

• Provide scientific support (verbal and written) for customers, account managers, application scientists and internal staff.
• Take customer support calls to identify and record reported issues with the product; reproduce and troubleshoot issues.
• Manage on-call and after hours support rotations.
• Develop and implement departmental procedures to ensure delivery of excellent customer service.
