Job summary

SV Microwave in Mesa, Arizona, is seeking an Applications Engineer to work with SV Sales, Marketing and Engineering to provide technical sales support, design-in, and customer solutions in a fast-paced environment.

Travel up to 30% regionally, collaborate with design teams to translate requirements into drawings and BOMs, and help drive growth in RF/microwave connectors and related products.

Qualifications

• Three years’ experience in Engineering.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Travel in region a minimum of 30%.

Responsibilities

• Engage customer base in engineering design phase for new product development
• Travel to customer sites as needed to support existing business and win new opportunities
• Translate customer requirements into drawings and BOM documentation with Design Engineering
• Identify product and pricing to compete in territory with Marketing
• Develop processes with Manufacturing Engineering to support customer requirements
• Set goals for market expansion targeting new applications and new customers
• Provide quick response and resolution to customer technical issues and problems
• Monitor industry trends and standards related to our product lines
