Job summary

NPAworldwide is seeking a Field Application Engineer to drive successful implementation of power and thermal products at customer sites in Milwaukee and other locations. You will understand customer needs, provide design-in support, and collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering to achieve business outcomes.

Qualifications

• B.S.E. in Electrical/Mechanical engineering (or related field).
• 5+ years of product or field application experience in power electronic products.
• Ability to translate customer needs into solutions and champion them internally.
• Hands-on expertise with power electronics (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, chargers, motor drives) and familiarity with thermal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and project leadership for named key accounts, serving as factory liaison.
• Deliver pre-sales applications support to expand adoption at strategic customers.
• Test new product introductions and validate performance at customer sites.
• Collaborate with R&D to address product issues, bugs, or improvement opportunities.
• Support sales with training, product launches, technical documentation, and industry trade shows.
• Develop customer-facing materials (application notes, presentations, success stories) to highlight solutions.
