Job summary

Gables Search Group in Raleigh, NC, is seeking a Field Application Engineer to lead technical engagements for power and thermal products. You will deliver pre-sales demonstrations, design-in support, and on-site troubleshooting while collaborating with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering.

You will translate customer needs into practical solutions, test new product introductions, and work with R&D to address issues, maintaining strong accounts. Travel 20-30% is required.

Qualifications

• B.S.E. in Electrical, Mechanical, or related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years\' related product or field application experience in power electronic products.
• Ability to translate customer needs into solutions and champion them internally.

Responsibilities

• Deliver pre-sales demonstrations and design-in support at customer locations.
• Serve as on-site technical champion for key accounts and partners.
• Collaborate with Product Management, Sales, and Engineering across projects.
• Provide post-sales troubleshooting, training, and technical documentation.
• Develop customer-facing materials and presentations to highlight solutions.
